About Us
The Mear family
Croeso! Anne and Colin, live and work on their beef and cereal farm near the villages of Clunderwen and Llandissilio. It has been a great area to bring up our two daughters to appreciate the wealth of the natural resources and activities, that this part of West Wales has to offer. The Mear family have been farming for generations, and over 50 years at Dyffryn Conin. (Colin’s family came on holiday to Pembrokeshire 55 years ago and decided to stay!) Over the decades, we have been welcoming visitors and students from around the world to experience working in agriculture and explore this stunning county.
We are truly lucky to live and work here. Surrounded by nature, we aim to support and protect the natural environment, while producing good quality food on our family farm. There are also many opportunities nearby, for you to sample the great range of locally produced food and drink that Pembrokeshire can offer.
Need to unwind from the pace of everyday life? Relax and embrace the slower rhythm of the countryside with family and friends, at our peaceful location. We can assure access to green space and nature from the doorstep.
We are conveniently off the beaten track of the A487 – just enough to experience the restorative calm of our surroundings. Whether you are listening to nature in the garden, or on the footpaths through fields and woodland, you can’t fail to appreciate the colours of each season. We truly believe when you start to explore Pembrokeshire, you’ll want to return to this beautiful un-spoilt area.
